I am looking for hair trimming kits; as advertised on tv?
Generally K-Mart, Wal-Mart etc.
BUT really you are throwing your money away. Several friends
purchased them, they are not happy!
I am looking for hair trimming kits; as advertised on tv for men?
try Walgreens, they carry all that stuff thats "as seen on tv"
Where can i find a reasonable dog hair trimming kit?
I have a teacup poodle who hates his hair cuts! So, i thought that if I cut it myself it would make it easier for him! is it worth it?
first off, there is no such thing as a 'teacup' anything - that is merely a marketing gimmick of irresponsible back yard greeders and puppy millers so I will assume you don't have a responsible breeder to help you learn to properly groom your dog. You need to take it to the groomer until you learn to do so and be brushing him every day or at least evey other day. He doesn't 'hate' haircuts, he is merely fearful of them because he likely hasn't had good experiences with them on a regular basis like he should have.
A 'kit' is useless -- you need to get some good clippers, likely Osters with an interchangeable blade so that you can groom the close parts with a ten blade, the feet, face, abdomen and around the tail end... then you can use a clip on comb if you want a fairly longer coat on the dog -- again, a groomer can help you with this since it isn't really something that should be a trial by error sort of thing or you can burn or cut the dog badly and it will then be even less happy about you coming near it with clippers. There is also other parts of grooming that need to be done that a groomer can help you with -- clipping the nails/grinding them with a dremel and cleaning out the hair in the ears - needs to be plucked out but you need to know what you are doing again so just suggesting some 'grooming kit' is meaningless and is a total waste of money. So no, it isn't worth it unless you have someone to help you do it correctly on a regular basis and that would have been a knowledgeable, caring breeder had you puchased from one that let you know you were purchasing a pet quality toy poodle instead of having to use some gimmick like 'teacup' to sell their products.
What does "B/O" stand for in B/O Nose Hair Trimmer?

Thanks.
I'm guessing it means "battery operated."
