We have cheap clippers (the electric buzzer kind), and they don't pull very much. Two things to check:

1) Did you put a drop of oil (sewing machine oil works well) on the blade before cutting? It REALLY makes a difference.

2) There may be a lever on the clipper head. Is it set to cut, and not to thin?

I want to purchase a as-close-as-possible-to-complete-with-my-budget haircutting kit for my friend who enjoys cutting womens hair. my problem is that I can't figure out if by clipper they mean that set is for like, trimming mens hair or something. It seems from the reviews that is what it is for. Could this be used for stylish womens haircuts? what are the combs used for? if it can't be used for womens haircuts,what sort of kit can? any suggestions?

It's for men's haircut, the Wahl kit, I own one. The combs, I think you're referring to the plastic attachments are for safely cutting the hair to a desired length, say an inch. You snap one of the combs onto the end of the clippers, and have at it. Can it be used for women's haircuts? I don't think it is purpose built per say to do women's hair since it is usually much longer, and the longest comb is an inch in the kit. I would run another search. Best of luck.

Is it ok to oil my BB/pellet gun with clipper oil?

Hi, i dont have oil for my pellet gun (Crosman 2100) and heard you were supposed to oil it pretty frequently. Well I don't have oil for it, and i was wondering if I could use the oil that came included with my Wahl hair clipper kit that's supposed to be used to oil the clippers after each use. I don't know if the oils are any different or if they just have different names. If anyone can answer this that'd be great. Thanks

That oil would work fine. Any light oil like clipper oil, sewing machine oil, 3 in 1 or similar will work. On my crosmans you open the pump lever all the way and you should see a foam piece on the actual plunger (there's usually a hole to put oil through). A couple of drops on the foam wiper is all it usually needs.

how can i stop the temptation of fixing my hair????

ok...this is gonna be REALLY REALLY strange...but you see i got a REALLY HORRIBLE haircut...and since i have a kit of hair clippers and siccors and stuff, i tried to fix my haircut, but i just got worse. now almost everyday, there's just a chunk of hair sticking out from somewhere and im just tempted to cut it...but then it just gets worse and worse and my hair gets shorter and shorter untill im gonna be practically BALD ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! im trying my hardest to grow my hair out, but i just CANT STOP cutting it and fixing it and stuff. i REALLY REALLY need serious help...and a trip to a salon or something is out of the question......so i need to know how to stop the tempatation to cut my hair and let it grow out. THXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX!!!!!!!!!!!!!
