How do barbers sharpen their electric clipper blades?

I know they can be sent to a professional, but I want alternatives,thank you.

Anything other than a professional is risking ruining your blades. I often buy new blades for mine. Depends on the quality of the clippers too.

A spray called Cool Lube you can get generally in a hardware store. They may even carry it at Home Depot, or Lowes maybe. Clean your clipper first with a small brush then spray your clippers wipe your blades good with you hand to remove excess oil. You can re-spray them if they seem to be bogging down after you've been using them a while. Clean the blades with a small brush before you put them away and rub the blades with your hands good , it will put oils from your hand on the blade and keep them from rusting. Just happen to have done that for a living. Good Luck Have a Very Merry Christmas, pray for our troops and light a candle for those who can't be with us!

Man i have tried and tried again to get my clippers to edge the hairline like my barbers. adjustment is either to close and cuts or to low to define the hairline... HELP!!!!

you need a special screwdriver to take it apart and re-align (i'm the world's worst speller. sorry) the blade.
