What is the best bikini trimmer for women?
Jan 06, 2009 by mollysmith_08 | Posted in Other - Skin & Body
Like the kind that keeps you totally smooth for weeks
The only thing that is going to keep you smooth for weeks is either a wax or laser hair removal surgery. Even the hair removal surgery would take a few sessions to keep the hair from growing back entirely. Laser hair removal is expensive (around $2500+ for all of the sessions) and a wax varies in cost. A good wax will cost a pretty penny for one session; you'll want to go to a reputable salon for a job like this!
My suggestions is to just pick up some good shaving products. Here's a link to reviews of the best and worst shaving products:

does using a bikini trimmer on your facial hair make it grow thicker or/and darker? i need to find a solution!
Jan 06, 2008 by peytonsawyerth | Posted in Hair
I have tried waxing my facial hair, but my mom wont do it for me and i need to find a way to take care of it myself. I have way too much hair to pluck it, and I cant afford electrolysis. Shaving is out of the question. HELP!!!!!
Waxing is your best bet. Salons will do it for cheep.
The bikini trimmer thing is the same as shaving. If you get rid of the hair that way, it will eventually turn into a daily event AND you risk ingrown hairs (yuck and OUCH). When your hair grows back, it will be coarser/prickly until it grows out completely. Don't go there.
When you get older, save up for laser hair removal. It works best if the hair is dark and your skin is light.

Too sensitive to wax or shave. Good Bikini Trimmer?
Nov 04, 2008 by kjk2009 | Posted in Hair
My skin is way to sensitive to shave or wax (trust me, ive tried several times), but I definitely like keeping it trimmed. Using scissors, however, can be tedious and not entirely safe. I am looking for a good quality bikini trimmer that will get a decently close trim. Any recommendations? Thanks!
Want to still do it in the privacy of your own bathroom... go to walmart and get VEET brand creme hair remover... they make a a formula that does it in 3 minutes... the scraper that comes with it does work to suit me... I use an old credit card or something like that with a sharp edge to scrape the product off when it is thru processing... follow directions and you will get good result.
There are many brands of creme hair removers (called depilatories) you may want to try different brands if this one doesn't suit you... you now we all are different and over time you will be a pro at it... I have used all the ways and this suits me best.
