What is the best bikini area hair trimmer?
Mar 03, 2008 by MiM | Posted in Hair
No waxing and no shaving, so none of those answers, please!
If you don't want to actually remove the hair by shaving or waxing I would just use scissors. You can control exactly how short the hair is and you don't have to buy anything.

if your trimming the length just use ordinary clippers with a blade comb if your trimming to tidy around the area then wax looks better than shaving cause you'll have to it nearly every day

A good shaver/trimmer for the bikini area?
Jan 19, 2009 by Caitlin | Posted in Other - Skin & Body
I have coarse hair... and I've tried to use regular disposable shavers after I trimmed down with scissors, but even if I put on a lot of shaving cream or something, I always get ingrown hairs and whatnot.
A lot of people say to exfoliate and/or take a hot shower so pores would open up, and I've tried all those suggestions. I think I just need to switch up what I'm using. So any suggestions? PREFERABLY something I can get from like Walmart, Target, Walgreens, CVS, Jewels, Dominicks, etcetc. But I'm open to ordering one online too, if it comes to it.
Someone suggested Remington Trim and Shape Wet/Dry Bikini Trimmer to me, but there are a lot of mixed reviews on it. I want something that like... removes ALL hair too, please?
DESPERATE! =(
My wife uses bikini zone anti bump shave lotion (its a blue gel) that she found at wal-mart. I've used it as well and it works.
There are also some special electric razors built for just that area. We've used one will some luck, I think it was called Feather Touch. Also treatment of ingrown hairs is important. Don't pull the hair but rather simply tease it out so it can be cut and persistance in keeping the area trimed will eventually resolve the problem.

Okay ! This is what you do... honestly, wait a couple of days for hair to grow. Then, hop in the shower do what you gotta do, then put shaving cream on and go up with the shaver, (towards your belly button) after that, go down. Hope that helped! And if you still have ingrown hares... there's always a plucker!

I feel your pain haha. I have the same problem. I always shave and then I get ingrown hairs and razor burn. It definitely sucks. But I've learned that your skin gets used to it after awhile and you get less and less ingrown hairs the longer you've been shaving that area. Also, try not to irritate the skin in that area or anything. And wait a few days before you shave again. It's bad if you shave that area like everyday. I hope that helps! =)
