Can I change the batteries of a Norelco rechargable beard trimmer?

My Norelco beard trimmer, model T6000, no longer works. The battery looks like AA but its covered in red rubber, and looks soldered onto the unit with flimsy metal ends. Should I just throw this thing out, or can it be fixed?

You should be able to change them. Find Norelco's number and contact them if you have problems.

why dony rechargeable batteries work in things like my spinbrush pro or my hair and beard trimmer?

They probably do not have enough voltage. If your spin brush uses 2 AA batteries and you use 2 rechargeable batteries the voltage is different. 2 AA batteries are 3V. Where as 2 rechargeable AA batteries are 2.4V.

is't not that they don't work...they just don't want you to put them into things that you only use for a small amount of time then store them.....

The Best Beard Trimmer?

I am looking ofr a beard trimmer to replace my old one. The old one was an cheap thing I got at Walmart and it worked well, but now it no longer holds a charge, and I can't figure any way to change the battery. Can anyone out there tell me about the best beard trimmer for the lowest price? I am thinking that I would probably like one that can be plugged into a wall but that isn't absolutely necessary. The main thing is I want something that will last me a while and not wear out in a year. Thanks for your help.
